Declaration & Indemnity

This is a one-page declaration for adventure activities. Please read carefully, fill in, and sign at the end. For minors (under 18), a legal guardian must sign.

By signing, you confirm you have read and agree to our Terms & Conditions and Booking & Cancellation Policy.

A. Acknowledgement of risks & fitness

  1. I understand trekking and allied activities involve inherent risks (including injury, illness, property loss, or death) arising from terrain, altitude, weather, wildlife, remoteness, and transport.
  2. I confirm I am fit to participate and have truthfully disclosed relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, and prior altitude issues. I will carry prescribed medicines and required personal gear.
  3. I will follow all safety instructions from leaders/guides, including pace control, cut-off decisions, campsite discipline, PPE/gear use, environmental and permit rules. Alcohol/drugs are prohibited on the trail.

B. Medical treatment, evacuation & insurance

  1. Treatment consent: If I am injured/ill, I authorise first-aid and local medical care, and I authorise evacuation by available means (on foot/vehicle/animal/air) when leaders deem it necessary. Helicopter or specific evacuation modes are not guaranteed.
  2. Costs: I agree to pay evacuation/medical costs not covered by any insurance, and to reimburse the operator if it advances payments on my behalf.
  3. Insurance (third-party): I understand any insurance is issued by a licensed third-party under its own terms. I will comply with the provider’s pre-approval/claims process and authorise the operator to share the minimum necessary personal/medical details with the provider to arrange assistance.

C. Itinerary changes & cancellations

  1. I understand routes, camps, or dates may change for safety or administrative reasons (weather, road closures, permits, strikes, official orders). Such changes do not automatically entitle a refund beyond what is stated in the Booking & Cancellation Policy.
  2. If I leave early (personal choice/fitness/documentation issues), unused services are non-refundable.

D. Assumption of risk, release & indemnity

  1. Assumption of risk: I voluntarily accept the above risks to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
  2. Release: I release and discharge the operator, its owners, employees, trek leaders/guides, freelance staff, agents, porters, homestays, transporters, equipment providers, landowners and other suppliers from claims arising from participation, except to the extent caused by their gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
  3. Indemnity: I will indemnify and hold the same parties harmless against third-party claims, losses, and legal expenses arising from my actions or from inaccurate disclosures I made.
  4. Personal property: I am responsible for my personal gear and valuables on the trip.
