Had an amazing trek on the Sandakphu/Phalut trail. Thank you Himalaya Trekkers for this unforgettable experience. I am a beginner climber, I had so much fun learning to climb outdoors with rope on big walls with jibbi. I felt very safe and that he is a true professional with teaching and securing. 10/10!

I did the Spiti homestay trek with Himalaya Trekkers and it was honestly so amazing! Be prepared for a challenging route which I’d say is best for hikers with some experience and to have almost no phone service along the way, but to be rewarded with the most beautiful views of your life and a feeling of deep peace, calm and serenity that only the remote mountains can offer. Also, you have no choice but to be immersed in the local culture with the wonderful hospitality of the people hosting you, visits to ancient Buddhist monasteries and meals of delicious local food along the way. I felt completely safe and taken care of the whole time. So all in all I can only recommend this company for an experience of a lifetime in an incredibly special and secluded area of the outstanding country that is India

We did two treks in 2025 with Himalaya Trekkers — the Sikkim Monastery tour and the Har Ki Dun trip. The homestay accommodations are very basic, so don’t expect any luxury, but they provide excellent opportunities to meet local families. Some are more basic than others, so expect some diversity. The Osla Villiage on the HarKiDun trip is an amazing example of the genuine traditional culture of a subsistence agricultural community at high elevation. The trip logistics were well supported. The Sikkim trip should be rated “moderate” rather than “easy” because the trails are steep. HT was clearly concerned about our safety and well-being, especially on the HarKiDun trip. We had no trouble with payments or other arrangements. They are flexible with planning itineraries, so it is worthwhile to discuss options with them iteratively to fit your preferences. There may be some higher-end options in this realm, but HT provided all that we needed for a reasonable price.

Our family (with three kids aged 8, 12, and 13) had a fantastic experience on the Kuari Pass Trek with Himalaya Trekkers. Our guides, Dev and Sheru, and their team were amazing. Their experience, professionalism, and enthusiasm helped us make the most of this wonderful trek. We hired a riding horse for our 8-year-old, and they ensured it was always safe. We were also pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the food. The chef was excellent and did an incredible job cooking in tents at high altitude. Last but not least, Sapta, the organizer, was always available and very responsive both before and during the trek. Thank you all!

We have recently returned from an adventurous trip to Dzongri Summit, organized by Himalaya Trekkers – and we can honestly say that this was a trip that exceeded all our expectations :).
From the very first meeting, we were greeted with warm smiles and care from Ram and his wonderful team. It was clear that they are passionate about what they do, and their experience, calmness and good mood were contagious to the entire group. We felt looked after, seen and motivated the whole way – which is crucial on such an expedition.
A special salute must also go to the chef, who conjured up the most exquisite dishes deep in the mountains. Every single meal was a surprise – varied and tasty :). Being served a 3-course hot, home-cooked meal after long days of hiking in the mountains made the whole experience even more magical.
The trip to Dzongri Summit was so much more than we had imagined – a perfect combination of magnificent nature, new acquaintances and a real sense of accomplishment. The highlight: the magnificent view of the entire Himalayan range – simply magical!!
We wholeheartedly recommend Himalaya Trekkers to all our friends and acquaintances who are considering a real Himalayan adventure. These are a people with passion, pride and heart for the mountains and for the people they take there.

The Goecha La trek with Himalaya Trekkers was incredible. Ram Singh (our trek leader) and his whole team worked so hard to ensure we had a fantastic experience. The food was excellent and plentiful and the equipment provided were of great condition which made our time on expedition a little more comfortable. I recently had the pleasure of trekking with Himalayan Trekkers, and I must say it was an incredible experience! The trek itself was definitely not easy, which is what made it so rewarding. The challenge of the terrain really brought out the beauty of the journey. One of the standout features of the trip was how well- organized everything was with the help from Sapta from the office. From the moment I signed up, I felt confident that every detail had been taken care of from the permits to the accommodation and transport. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. They made sure we were well taken care of and even shared fascinating insights about the local culture, which made the trek even more enjoyable. The highlight for me, though, was the delicious local food. Every meal was a treat, offering an authentic taste of the region that made the whole experience even more immersive. I also really appreciated how personalized the experience was. The trekking company made an effort to accommodate everyone’s needs, ensuring that each trekker had a memorable and enjoyable experience. Overall, it was a fantastic adventure, and I would highly recommend Himalayan Trekkers to anyone looking for a moderately challenging yet well-supported trek in the Himalayas for 50 yr old plus trekkers. Thank you for an amazing adventure! Sandaphuk and Phalut will always be in our memory. Our guide was Arpan who was so knowledgeable and kind. He kept our spirits up and knew we could do it!! Our two porters were also amazing, Neima and Prakash. The three of them looked after us so well and taught us about the culture and how to sing songs to motivate us! We continually laughed for the full trek and I was very sad when it ended!! Thank you

We organised a bit last minute our trek to Uttarakhand. WE were well informed, given maps,advice,recommandations, HT helped us within our criterias,budget and brief to compose a beautiful trek for the late Season. WE lived a wonderful expérience, with kind,attentionate guides, porters,muleteer,Cook. WE crossed breathtaking fall landscapes. Had Amazing food. Everything was absolutely well and professionnaly organised.

Himalaya Trekkers organised a fantastic trek for three of us from England in Sikkim, the whole thing went very smoothly, everything was well organised from the trek itself, the team that guided and fed us and put up camp each night, and all the transfers and various visa’s and permits etc.
Sikkim is a magical place, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and we would recommend Himalaya Trekkers. The Communication was superb, always available to answer questions.
We are now looking at Kashmir and will use them again.

We did winter Dzongri trek in Sikkim with Himalaya Trekkers. They arranged everything for us and we were very satisfied. The communication was fast. On the trek we had excellent team – experienced guide Ram from Yuksom and cook Chandra. The food was delicious. Even the trek base – homestay in Yuksom was gorgeous. We did this trek in February, it was challenging, but with the support of Himalaya Trekkers team, we successed .

We had a great short trek with Himalaya Trekkers up to Bajre Dara over the course of 3 days. Ram, our guide, and his team were brilliant every step of the way, providing everything from local knowledge to a seemingly endless supply of great food and snacks. Everything was meticulously organised and the views at the top were absolutely stunning! Thoroughly recommend this company for any looking to trek in this part of the world.

I had a great experience with the HT team, doing the Goecha La trek in November. Our trek leader Ram was wonderful, he made us all feel very comfortable and safe during the 8 days of trekking with his in-depth knowledge of the area/terrain, his kindness and humour. The food was excellent, the whole team were so kind and helpful, not to mention the breathtaking route and views. Definitely a trip to remember and I look forward to another excursion with the HT team.

It was a great experience with Himalaya Trekkers, their hospitality and food was really good. The trek guide and the kitchen staff was so humble that they made sure of fulfilling all of our needs and wishes. My best memory of this trip is roasting potatoes in the campfire, we all enjoyed talking under the fool moon and eating roasted potatoes.

I was fortunate to locate the Sikkim Monastery Trail when researching how to spend a week in West Sikkim. Himalayas Trekkers were terrific to deal with – going above and beyond the basics to facilitate this hiking trip for me as a solo traveller and at short notice. The trip was personalised as I wanted to spend 7 rather than 5 days and Sapta even provided urgent late night help with train ticket logistics for travel after the hiking.
Once I arrived on the ground in Pelling I met with local guide Bhaichung and instantly I realised that this was going to be a wonderful week. The pitch and atmosphere of the journey was exactly what I was looking for and my week in the hills of western Sikkim will remain in my heart forever.

If you want to trekk the Himalayas and enjoying it without “killing” yourself, this is the way to do it! The homestay version of the Har Ki Dun trekk gave us a very unique and authentic experience of what life and nature is like in this high and remote area. Breathtaking beautiful views, spacious and clean accomodation though basic. The thing I found challenging, besides the altitude and trekking up-down-up-down, was the toilet, wich was not close to the bedrooms. At night you had to go outside, climb steps and fumble in the dark. I had brought a small potty that I don’t know what I would have done without!
The guide was really caring, making sure we all managed to get “there” at our own pace never rushing us on. “Slowly, slowly…” as he said. During the entire adventure I felt that we were in good, totally trustworthy hands.
We were only four trekkers (friends) in our group. Many companies don’t do small groups like that. But it was a perfect number to fully enjoy the trekk.The organiser of our trekk was as accomodating, helpful and trustworthy as our guide
If you want a perfect partner with whom you plan and complete your trekk in the Himalayas – I reckomend Himalaya Trekkers a 100%.

Last October we did the Goechala trek and monastery trek with the Himalaya Trekkers. The communication beforehand was really nice and helpful.
The monastery trek was last minute and they made sure we could join. Nice trek if you want to know more about the culture of West Sikkim and stay in homestays.
During the Goechala trekking we were with a small group and a lovely guide. Suman was friendly and careful to make sure every one felt good to adapt to the height.
